The research conducted at the Israel (Novocure, Israel Institute of Technology, Weizmann Institute of Science and Elisha Medical Centre) indicate disruption of cancer cell replication by alternating electric fields. The effect is found to be selective, affecting only dividing cell lines and sparing the quiescent ones. The electric field arrests cell proliferation as well as destruction of cells while undergoing division. Just before a dividing cell splits in two, it briefly forms an hourglass shape before the two daughter cells pinch off, and this shape is particularly vulnerable to electricity. The current gets concentrated at the cell�s narrow waist, and at the very moment of division, the cell membrane is destroyed, and the cells disintegrate. The mechanism of action of the fields, researchers say, depends on disruption of the microtubules of the mitotic spindle and the electric forces resulting from focusing of the field in the dividing cells. The spindle is composed of cell components known as microtubules. The microtubules contain components that have high electric dipole moment, in which there is a large separation of opposite electric charges. Therefore, parts of the mitotic spindle are greatly influenced and apparently get disrupted by an electric field.

The cancer fighting abilities of this technique are being evaluated on human patients with recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (GBM); a fast growing, and difficult to treat form of brain cancer. This new technique exploits the difference between normal cells and cancer cells; it acts only on physically splitting cancer cells. The researchers are optimistic as they observed slower than usual progress in the development of brain tumour; in some cases even cell regression was observed. It is believed that this technique will work on all type of cancers and can possibly be applied to many different disease types. When the technique is applied in association with chemotherapy, its effect has been found more promising; the electric fields appear to make the cancer cells far more susceptible to chemotherapy without any additional increase in side effects and toxicity.

A Finnish member of the World Health Organization board, an advisor on vaccines, has received 6 million Euros for his research center from the vaccine manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline.

Although WHO promises transparency, this conflict of interest is not available for the public to see at WHO�s homepage.

Professor Juhani Eskola is the director of the Finnish research vaccine program and a new member of the WHO group �Strategic Advisory Group of Experts� (SAGE).

SAGE recommends which vaccines -- and how many -- member countries should purchase for the pandemic.

According to documents acquired through the Danish Freedom of Information Act, Eskola�s Finnish institute, THL, received almost 6.3 million Euros from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for research on vaccines during 2009. GlaxoSmithKline produces the H1N1-vaccine �Pandemrix,� which the Finnish government -- following recommendations from THL and WHO -- purchased for a national pandemic reserve stockpile.

Several other WHO experts also have financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry--a double role that notably is not published by WHO.

WHO ADVISED BY SECRET COMMITTEE ON THE SWINE FLU

The names of the members of a group that acts as advisers to WHO on the swine flu are a closely kept secret. The group advocated upgrading the status of the flu from epidemic to pandemic. Since then, pharmaceutical companies have sold more than 55-billion crowns worth of vaccines, writes the Danish daily news outlet "Information".

WHO relies on a secret group of experts, the so-called Emergency Committee. The organisation consults this Emergency Committee on managing the swine flu. The committee is at the epicentre of desicion-making and recommended the declaration of a swine flu pandemic to Director General, Margaret Chan. A recommendation that she implemented on June 11th this year, referring to the group of experts. This resulted in enormous economic gains for the pharmaceutical industry.

Many member countries � among them, Denmark � have contracts with the big pharma companies and are obliged to buy vaccines when WHO determines that a virus is a pandemic. The investment bank J.P. Morgan estimates that vaccines and other types of flu medicine amounting to more than 55 billions of crowns have been sold since this declaration.

In spite of the committee�s enormous influence and power, the public is not allowed to learn who the members of the committee actually are. As a consequence, the public is also denied access to information needed to check whether the members of this group are on the payroll of the pharma industry. The only information available to the public is that the committee consists of 18 people whom the Director General has selected from WHO�s list of experts.

But such a level of transparency is inadequate according to Peter Goetzsche, who is the leader of the independent research institution, Cochrane, in Copenhagen.

�It is not acceptable that a secret committee gives advice to WHO in a matter of such importance. There needs to be complete transparency over who they are and what conflicts of interests the committee may have. If this is not the case, people cannot have confidence in what is going on,� says Peter Goetzsche.

According to earlier information, WHO has members in it�s groups of consultants who are on the payroll of the pharma industry. Peter Goetzsche fears that this could also be the case with the Emergency Committee.

�That committee possesses enormous power. And yet we don�t know whether those people who are sitting on it receive money from or have stocks in those firms which produce the vaccines,� says Peter Goetzsche.

Managing director of Danish Board of Health, Jesper Fisker, agrees.

"It is unnacceptable that we cannot see who the members of the committee actually are and consequently cannot see what interests are represented. It has to be part of the common ambition of openness and transparency that we can see, what role the committee plays and who the members are,� he says and adds: �The more influential a committee is, the more important it is, that there is transparency. And if they have given advice concerning an important decision � and that seems to be the case � then it is even more important that there is transparency. This simply has to happen.�

First Case of Highly Drug-Resistant TB Found in US

It started with a cough, an autumn hack that refused to go away. Then came the fevers. They bathed and chilled the skinny frame of Oswaldo Juarez, a 19-year-old Peruvian visiting to study English. His lungs clattered, his chest tightened and he ached with every gasp. During a wheezing fit at 4 a.m., Juarez felt a warm knot rise from his throat. He ran to the bathroom sink and spewed a mouthful of blood.

I�m dying, he told himself, �because when you cough blood, it�s something really bad.�
It was really bad, and not just for him.

Doctors say Juarez�s incessant hack was a sign of what they have both dreaded and expected for years � this country�s first case of a contagious, aggressive, especially drug-resistant form of tuberculosis. The Associated Press learned of his case, which until now has not been made public, as part of a six-month look at the soaring global challenge of drug resistance.

Juarez�s strain � so-called extremely drug-resistant (XXDR) TB � has never before been seen in the U.S., according to Dr. David Ashkin, one of the nation�s leading experts on tuberculosis. XXDR tuberculosis is so rare that only a handful of other people in the world are thought to have had it.

�He is really the future,� Ashkin said. �This is the new class that people are not really talking too much about. These are the ones we really fear because I�m not sure how we treat them.�

Forty years ago, the world thought it had conquered TB and any number of other diseases through the new wonder drugs: Antibiotics. U.S. Surgeon General William H. Stewart announced it was �time to close the book on infectious diseases and declare the war against pestilence won.�

Today, all the leading killer infectious diseases on the planet � TB, malaria and HIV among them � are mutating at an alarming rate, hitchhiking their way in and out of countries. The reason: Overuse and misuse of the very drugs that were supposed to save us.

As a mathematical epidemiologist, I am proud that a member of the profession has turned some epidemiological tools on the root cause of the swine flu pandemic. An investigation was initiated both by the former German Bundestag Wolfgang Wodarg (SPD) and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Wodarg is a physician and epidemiologist who is head of the subcommittee on health and he considers the handling of the swine flu to be "one of the biggest medical scandals of the century".

He said the influence of the the pharamaceutical industry on scientists and government officials has resulted in millions of healthy people being exposed unnecessarily to the risks of an inadequately tested vaccine.�

That even though, the swine flu virus is much less harmful� than last year�s seasonal flu causing not even a tenth of the usual deaths associated with flu.�

Wodarg has also criticised the way pharemceutical companies have made gigantic profits at the expense of tax payers.

He accused vaccine manufacturers of being willing even to inflict bodily harm� in their pursuit of profits, noting that the adjuvants in the swine flu jab have hardly been tested.

In addtion,the vaccine�s side effects including dangerous paralysis have not been adequately recorded.

Wodarg has said that the role of the WHO and its the pandemic emergency declaration in June needs to be the especial focus of a European parliamtary inquiry. For the first time the criteria for a pandemic was made not the actual risk of a diseases but the number of cases of the disease.

By classifying the swine flu as pandemic, nations were compelled to implement pandemic plans and also the purchase swine flu vaccines.

Because WHO is not subject to any parliamentary control, Wodarg argued it is necessary for governments to insist on accountability.

An eight year study conducted at the Mayo Clinic, published by the American Thoracic Society suggests that there is a correlation between flu shots and risk of complications from influenza. The study evaluated every pediatric patient that was seen at the Mayo Clinic over the course of eight flu seasons to determine how much the flu shot prevented hospitalization from influenza in asthmatic children. ATS 2009, SAN DIEGO� The inactivated flu vaccine does not appear to be effective in preventing influenza-related hospitalizations in children, especially the ones with asthma. In fact, children who get the flu vaccine are more at risk for hospitalization than their peers who do not get the vaccine, according to new research that will be presented on Tuesday, May 19, at the 105th International Conference of the American Thoracic Society in San Diego...

The CDC�s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the American Academy
of Pediatrics (AAP) recommend annual influenza vaccination for all children aged six months to 18 years. The National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (3rd revision) also recommends annual flu vaccination of asthmatic children older than six months.

In order to determine whether the vaccine was effective in reducing the number of
hospitalizations that all children, and especially the ones with asthma, faced over eight consecutive flu
seasons, the researchers conducted a cohort study of 263 children who were evaluated at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota from six months to 18 years of age, each of whom had had laboratory-confirmed influenza between 1996 to 2006. The investigators determined who had and had not received the flu vaccine, their asthma status and who did and did not require hospitalization. Records were reviewed for each subject with influenza-related illness for flu vaccination preceding the illness and hospitalization during that illness.

They found that children who had received the flu vaccine had three times the risk of
hospitalization, as compared to children who had not received the vaccine. In asthmatic children, there
was a significantly higher risk of hospitalization in subjects who received the TIV, as compared to those
who did not (p= 0.006). But no other measured factors�such as insurance plans or severity of asthma�appeared to affect risk of hospitalization.

Medical Error, the Third Leading Cause of Death, and Climbing

U.S. healthcare is the most expensive in the world and has the worst healthcare outcomes of most developed countries. The data is unassailable and studiously ignored by the media. Most Americans think healthcare in the U.S. is good and that is probably why so many of them are fat, sick, ignorant, and die an early death at the hands of their doctor.

The last time I checked, the nurses in California will not check into a hospital without a buddy nurse who takes time off from work to watch every procedure done in the hospital on their fellow nurse. It is too risky to enter the hospital without an external expert watching your every move.

Dr. Barbara Starfield of John's Hopkins University reported in JAMA in 2000 that every year in the US there are:
12,000 deaths from unnecessary surgeries;
7,000 deaths from medication errors in hospitals;
20,000 deaths from other errors in hospitals;
80,000 deaths from infections acquired in hospitals;
106,000 deaths from FDA-approved correctly prescribed medicines.
The total of medically-caused deaths in the US every year is 225,000.

Alterations of nAChRs and ERK1/2 in the brains of rats with chronic fluorosis and their connections with the decreased capacity of learning and memory

In order to reveal the mechanism of the decreased ability of learning and memory induced by chronic fluorosis, nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) and the pathway of extracellular signal regulated protein kinase (ERK1/2) were investigated by using the rats fed with different concentrations of sodium fluoride for 6 months. Spatial learning and memory of the rats were evaluated by Morris Water Maze test. The expressions of nAChRs, ERK1/2 and mitogen-induced extracellular kinase (MEK1/2) at protein and mRNA levels were detected by Western blotting and Real-time PCR, respectively. The results showed that as compared with controls, the learning and memory capacity in the rats with fluorosis was decreased. The protein expressions of ?7 and ?4 nAChR subunits in rat brains with fluorosis were decreased by 35% and 33%, whereas the corresponding receptor subunit mRNAs didn't exhibit any changes. The increases of phospho- and total- ERK1/2 as well as phospho-MEK1/2 at the protein levels were found in the brains of rats with fluorosis as compared to controls, and no difference of ERK1/2 mRNA was found. In addition, the activation rate of phospho-ERK1/2 was decreased in the brains affected with fluorosis. The modifications of nAChRs and ERK1/2 pathway might be connected with the molecular mechanisms in the decreased capacity of learning and memory of the rats with fluorosis.

Previous studies suggest that sodium fluoride (NaF) can impair performance in some memory tasks, such as open-field habituation and two-way active avoidance. In the present study, we evaluated the effect of NaF intake (100 ppm in drinking water for 30 days) and its short-term (15 days) withdrawal on open-field habituation and brain monoamine level. Adult male rats were allocated to three groups: tap water (NaF 1.54 ppm) for 45 days (control group); 15 days of tap water followed by NaF for 30 days; and NaF for 30 days followed by 15 days of tap water. The results showed that NaF impairs open-field habituation and increases noradrenaline (NA) and serotonin (5-HT) in the striatum, hippocampus and neocortex. Dopamine (DA) increase was restricted to the striatum. Short-term NaF withdrawal did not reverse these NaF-induced changes, and both NaF treatments led to a mild fluorosis in rat incisors. No treatment effect was seen in body weight or fluid/water consumption. These results indicate that sodium fluoride induces memory impairment that outlasts short-term NaF withdrawal (2 weeks) and may be associated with NA and 5-HT increases in discrete brain regions.

XMRV Virus Causes Chronic Disease Syndrome

Dr. Schimpff, former CEO of the University of Colorado Medical Center, has an interesting book on the future of medicine. He and I were coinvestigators on an Operation Room of the Future grant designed to upgrade information technology in the new surgery center the University opened a few years ago.

He also has a good blog with a recent posting on the XMRV virus. Frequency Foundation subscribers have already received the frequency set as part of the Swine Flu series. Most of you don't realize that XMRV is one of the many viruses that are part of what is called "Swine Flu" as conventional medicine has a tough time even confirming that you have the 1918 swine flu virus and doesn't determine what other organisms are making you sick. After you get the swine flu you will likely be chronically infected with XMRV unless the virus is eliminated with frequencies.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Shown to be Caused by Virus

A very recent discovery may lead to significant advances for the estimated 4 million Americans and 17 million worldwide who suffer with chronic fatigue syndrome. CSF is, like its name suggests, a persistent extreme level of fatigue that does not resolve with rest or sleep. It may also be accompanied by memory lapses and other neurological issues. All too many individuals have been branded as having a �psychological problem� and as not really being ill. No cause had been known although viral infection, immune dysfunction or both had been thought possible. There has been no specific treatment.

Now researchers at the Whittemore Peterson Research Institute in Reno, Nevada have shown that CFS is likely caused by a virus. Known as xenotrophic murine leukemia virus � related virus, or XMVR, it is a retrovirus that is suspected of being transmitted by intimate human contact. The discovery means that a definite diagnostic rest can be created. And hopefully it means that scientists will be able to shortly find or create drugs to both prevent the disease and to treat those who have it. It also means that no loner will these patients be labeled as not having a real medical problem.

The researchers� early studies suggest that perhaps 4% of us carry the virus. If proven correct, then an immediate goal is for a quick and inexpensive test to screen donated blood so that the virus is not transmitted inadvertently via transfusions. And it raises the intriguing question of why some but not all of those infected go on to develop CSF.

In study done at the Cleveland Clinic, scientists have found the same XMRV virus in prostate cancer samples. It is too soon to say that the virus is causative; if might be just a �passenger.� Additional research will be done to make a clear determination.

Meanwhile, the Whittemore Peterson researchers have suggested a new name � x-associated neuroimmune disease [XAND], a name that clarifies that this is a real disease and suggests some of its implications.

This finding of XMRV as the likely cause of CFS is a major medical advance.

Carcinogenesis: Stopping it with electronic medicine

People ask me regularly about electronic medicine and cancer cells. I discovered this draft of a post from 2002 that was never published that provides some initial insights. Further work can be seen at other parts of this site noted at the end of this blog item.

There are several steps to current thinking on dealing with cancer cells:
1. Nutritional and lifestyle factors described elsewhere are critical
2. Eliminate the Rife BX BY complex
3. Eliminate the Gregory cancer virus
4. Eliminate parasites that promote tumor growth
5. Eliminate viruses that cause malignant cells
6. Target specific malignant cells for elimination

There is abundant epidemiological data from all over the world on cancer incidence for a wide variety of tumors in animal and human populations. My thesis advisor was Editor of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He gave me a stack of over 300 papers from the medical journals with carcinogenesis dose reponse curves for many different species. All the curves looked different. He told me to explain why they were all different and he would give me a Ph.D. I then spent about 8 years doing supercomputer mathematical analysis of data on various types of cancer. The final data set I focused in on for publication was data from the Third National Cancer Survey which had complete coverage from many states in the U.S. and was the best available data at the time. My thesis advisor had led the survey and I had complete access to all data at the National Cancer Institute.

For most human cancers, the data clearly shows a four hit process. This can be visualized most clearly in skin tumors. An abnormal cell appears and begins dividing and creates a small patch on the skin. Within this lesion, a cell mutates, and you have a small patch growing within a patch. This happens a third time, then a fourth time. On the fourth genetic change, the cell breaks through the mechanisms that control proliferation and is malignant. It grows uncontrollably in a fifth phase, with the right promoting environment available, and can get into the bloodstream and migrate to other parts of the body causing metastases.

I have repeatedly seen the frequencies 2008 and 2127 appear in myself and others after eating certain food. I have been able to confirm that this has happened in most people who have eaten a specific meal. This is the BX and BY �virus� form of Rife�s organism. Today, this is not believed to be a virus and some think it is a mycoplasma.

These organisms are clearly not a typical virus. They immediately go systemic throughout the entire body. And it originally took days of repeated treatment for long periods with the FSCAN and/or EM6+ to clear the body of them. With newer technologies they can be eliminate a lot faster.

Meanwhile, I have repeatedly seen non-malignant skin tumors grow quickly and in one case apparently become malignant in the presence of BX and BY. In the presence of this organism it is common to have tumors erupt in less than a day. This helps to explain an interesting aspect of my previous research in carcinogenesis. In some tumors, prostate for example, the data show that the first malignant cell appears 35 years before clinical diagnosis on the average. In a fast growing tumor like lung cancer, the first malignant cell appears about a year before clinical diagnosis. However, it is very common to see people go downhill extremely quickly after initial diagnosis. While some of this is undoubtedly due to the shock of the diagnosis and resultant depression of the immune system, it is aggrevated by the BX and BY virus. Much of conventional cancer treatment does not eliminate the virus and may even promote its growth.

So the BX and BY organisms are strong promoters of at least stage 3 (premalignant) and stage 4 (malignant) tumors and may even promote earlier stages. As indicated in the paper by Owens DM, Wei S, Smart RC. A multihit, multistage model of chemical carcinogenesis. Carcinogenesis, Vol. 20, No. 9, 1837-1844, September 1999, promotion of early phases of tumor initiation increases the cellular population at risk of mutating into a subsequent phase. This process happens so fast in the presence of BX and BY that I believe the Rife organisms are both promoters and mutagens.

The first approach to stopping proliferation of tumors must be to eradicate the BX and BY virus. Parasites also release substances that promote tumor growth so they must be eliminated as well. However, they are not as dangerous as BX and BY. I believe if everyone was monitored for BX and BY and the infection was eliminated immediately, we could significantly cut cancer incidence in the U.S., probably by more than 50%.

The fact that this information has been available for almost 100 years now shows how closed mindedness and suppression of innovation has compromised American medicine. This phenomenon has largely been driven by business interests, initially by a director of the AMA who was ultimately convicted of fraud and conspiracy for suppressing cancer therapies, and in more recent years by the pharmaceutical industry.

The tumors I have worked with (lung, cervix, skin, colon) have all had the presence of BX and BY which can be eliminated straight away. It is important to realize when targeting the BX and BY organisms with an electronic device that when you kill one strain, another strain proliferates and the frequency changes. These organisms have very stable frequencies around 2008 and 2127, however, and I have seen them deviate only by 3HZ at the most. It is important to eliminate all of them and you must have the exact frequency to 1HZ and this frequency may vary between 2003-2010 and 2125-2130. In recent years, the frequency set for BX BY has expanded to hundreds of frequencies.

Eliminating the BX and BY organism does not stop cells which have already reached stage 4 and are malignant. In fact, all malignant tumors will not show BX and BY present. They can continue to proliferate and metastasize without BX and BY. The best way to eliminate the malignant cells is to stop the ATP metabolism in these cells while leaving normal cells unaffected. This will prevent mitosis and the cancer cells will die a normal death without proliferating. This appears to be possible with frequencies in the 11,700,000 range. These frequencies also seem to stop mitosis of stage 3 cells as well. The data in the Gorgun paper shows how this is possible.

Stopping cellular mitosis requires the exact frequency. I have seen frequencies in the range 11,600,000 � 11,900,000HZ affect tumors. Different tumors of the same type (or perhaps cells in different stages) will have slightly different frequencies. Metastatic tumors will have different frequencies. I believe that Rife was able to affect a �cure� in almost every case because his device running at 11,700,000 had enough variability and harmonics to stop mitosis in all relevant cells, even though their frequencies may have been slightly different. The curse of modern technology is that it is so precise, most people are unable to reproduce Rife�s work.

Richard Loyd had a machine some years ago that could treat directly at 11,700,000HZ. Most of us are not so lucky. I have found some success, however, in using the FSCAN to treat all the octaves of the exact frequencies in the FSCAN range from 10-3,000,000HZ. More recent FSCAN devices work in the 11-12MHZ range. Current frequency sets provided to Frequency Foundation subscribers go well over 30MHZ to target viral patterns in the bodies energy field. It will be difficult but not impossible, in my view, to stop all cellular mitosis using a Rife device that can only treat at less than 10,000HZ.

These comments represent a working hypothesis that has been successful in a some cases and not as successful in rapidly growing tumors. Now that the swine flu epidemic is winding down and the fear, panic, and greed are subsiding we might look at this event more objectively and start holding certain individuals more accountable for their behavior. In the financial community, there is at least some investigation of the causes of the financial crisis. Could we at least do as well in investigating the healthcare business?

Healthcare policy is affected by corruption and given what is going on in the world it is interesting to see which countries are most corrupt. Iceland and Finland are the least corrupt countries in the world which might explain the position of the former Health Minister of Finland. I was astonished last night when a friend asked if I was going to get the flu shot! Doesn't anyone look at the lack of data on efficacy of flu shots? Or the fact that our previous administration made vaccine manufacturers immune from prosecution no matter how many people they maim or kill with flu shots! Tribute to Dr. Hulda Clark

Hulda Clark will be remembered as one of the great pioneers in electronic medicine. Her probing of the human body with low voltage frequencies has led to findings that are incredibly valuable to many of us.

Her book, The Cure for All Cancers, was ridiculed by the medical profession when it was first published. However, she has gone on to cure more cancers than any physician I know, and I know a lot of them after being funded by the National Cancer Institute for a decade of cancer research.

How Effective is the Flu Vaccine?

Dr. Mercola has a good summary on information on the flu vaccine. It is interesting to note that flu deaths in children increased earlier in this decade when mass vaccinations for the flu began. The research does not show any benefits from flu vaccine and shows plenty of negative side effects.

The majority of health professionals, myself included, do not get flu shots. So either they are based on political dogma or someone is making enough money to exert control of the political process. As CDC officials have repeatedly pointed out to me in workshops, in some cases their decisions are forced by political pressure and not by public health concerns.

How Effective is the Flu Vaccine?

Remember that the potential effectiveness of a flu vaccine is dependent on the ASSUMPTION, made nearly a year in advance, that Asia�s viral strains will be the ones hitting the U.S. When they guess wrong, the vaccine is worthless from the very start.
But does that mean they withdraw the flu vaccine when they discover it contains the wrong strains? NO! They just keep giving it out anyway.
But even if they were to overcome that hurdle and actually select the correct strains, there�s still no evidence that it does anyone any good to get a flu vaccine.

This indication is based on immune response elicited by FLULAVAL, and there have been no controlled trials demonstrating a decrease in influenza disease after vaccination with FLULAVAL.�
That�s right, NO controlled trials demonstrating ANY decrease in your risk of contracting the flu at all after vaccination! (It also states that each dose contains a total of 25 mcg of mercury.)
For those of you who are still unconvinced, know that there�s plenty of scientific evidence available to back up the recommendation to avoid flu vaccines. In addition to studies mentioned in the video, here are several other examples showing that flu vaccines do not work for any age group:
A study published in the October 2008 issue of the Archives of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine found that vaccinating young children against the flu had no impact on flu-related hospitalizations or doctor visits during two recent flu seasons.
The researchers concluded that "significant influenza vaccine effectiveness could not be demonstrated for any season, age, or setting" examined.
A 2008 study published in the Lancet found that influenza vaccination was NOT associated with a reduced risk of pneumonia in older people.
This supports an earlier study, published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
Research published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine also confirms that there has been no decrease in deaths from influenza and pneumonia in the elderly, despite the fact that vaccination coverage among the elderly has increased from 15 percent in 1980 to 65 percent now.
In 2007, researchers with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious
Diseases, and the National Institutes of Health published this conclusion in the Lancet Infectious Diseases: �We conclude that frailty selection bias and use of non-specific endpoints such as all-cause mortality,have led cohort studies to greatly exaggerate vaccine benefits.�
A large-scale, systematic review of 51 studies, published in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews in 2006, found no evidence that the flu vaccine is any more effective than a placebo in children. The studies involved 260,000 children, age 6 to 23 months.
Last but not least, I think it says a lot that 70 percent of doctors and nurses, and 62 percent of other health care workers do NOT get the yearly flu shot.
The reasons why they opted to not get vaccinated were:
They didn't believe the vaccine would work
They believed their immune systems were strong enough to withstand exposure to the flu
They were concerned about side effects

Cancer Frequencies: Finally a Clinical Trial

We've known for decades that frequencies are an excellent approach to treating cancer with dramatically less side effects than chemotherapy and radiation. It is nice to finally see a group do a successful clinical trial on this.

This team did not even use frequencies in the range known to kill cancer cells and were successful. Image what they could if they utilized the expertise in the worldwide community working with this technology!

An important finding (pointed out for many years on this site) is that frequencies are specific to specific cells and cell types. This makes it challenging for the average university research groups. As Rife has shown us, getting the exact frequencies requires painstaking work for many years with highly refined tools not generally available.

Also well known, and can be inferred by the data in this study, is that it is difficult to eliminate cancer completely for terminal cases, but possible to signficantly increase the life span and quality of life compared to conventional treatment.

Abstract

Purpose
Because in vitro studies suggest that low levels of electromagnetic fields may modify cancer cell growth, we hypothesized that systemic delivery of a combination of tumor-specific frequencies may have a therapeutic effect. We undertook this study to identify tumor-specific frequencies and test the feasibility of administering such frequencies to patients with advanced cancer.

Patients and methods
We examined patients with various types of cancer using a noninvasive biofeedback method to identify tumor-specific frequencies. We offered compassionate treatment to some patients with advanced cancer and limited therapeutic options.

Results
We examined a total of 163 patients with a diagnosis of cancer and identified a total of 1524 frequencies ranging from 0.1 Hz to 114 kHz. Most frequencies (57�92%) were specific for a single tumor type. Compassionate treatment with tumor-specific frequencies was offered to 28 patients. Three patients experienced grade 1 fatigue during or immediately after treatment. There were no NCI grade 2, 3 or 4 toxicities. Thirteen patients were evaluable for response. One patient with hormone-refractory breast cancer metastatic to the adrenal gland and bones had a complete response lasting 11 months. One patient with hormone-refractory breast cancer metastatic to liver and bones had a partial response lasting 13.5 months. Four patients had stable disease lasting for +34.1 months (thyroid cancer metastatic to lung), 5.1 months (non-small cell lung cancer), 4.1 months (pancreatic cancer metastatic to liver) and 4.0 months (leiomyosarcoma metastatic to liver).

Conclusion
Cancer-related frequencies appear to be tumor-specific and treatment with tumor-specific frequencies is feasible, well tolerated and may have biological efficacy in patients with advanced cancer.

Parasites: New Findings

Parasites are easily eliminated from the body within a few hours with the correct frequencies. Each parasite strain requires at least eight frequencies to knock out each stage of the life cycle plus a frequency to knock out a critical protein. For some parasites there will be several strains in the body.

The complexity of multiple frequencies and multiple strains makes it difficult for most researchers to systematically eliminate parasites. Frequency Foundation has spent more than a decade of research to be able to do this consistently and effectively with frequencies only.

Ongoing research on the ability of parasites to evade the immune system is of interest for pursuing frequency strategies that can shorten frequency application time.

Abstract

Parasites are accomplished evaders of host immunity. Their evasion strategies have shaped every facet of the immune system, driving diversity within gene families and immune gene polymorphisms within populations. New studies published recently in BMC Biology and Journal of Experimental Medicine document parasite-associated immunosuppression in natural populations and suggest that host genetic variants favoring resistance to parasites may be detrimental in the absence of infection.

Parasites

Parasites are eukaryotic pathogens, and broadly comprise protozoa, fungi, helminths and arthropods (Figure 1) that complete part or all of their life cycle within a host organism. Like other pathogens, parasites must survive in the face of a highly potent immune system. They succeed in this through a great diversity of strategies for avoiding immune detection, suppressing cellular immunity and deflecting immune attack mechanisms. It has been suggested that the need to overcome suppressive mechanisms of parasites may have led to compensatory adjustments in immune genes that, in an environment where parasitic infection is not endemic, may increase the likelihood of inappropriate responsiveness to self-antigens (autoimmunity) and environmental allergens (allergy). This notion has become known as the hygiene hypothesis [1]. Two recent papers, from Jackson et al. [2] and Fumagalli et al. [3] lend support to this hypothesis.
